During my recent stay at Vila Camelia, I was drawn to its charming mix of traditional decor and modern conveniences. The ornate wooden fittings added character, while the comfortable rooms provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. Though the lack of air conditioning might deter some travelers, I found the cool mountain breeze refreshing, especially with the balcony overlooking the scenic landscape. The breakfast buffet stood out with a generous array of options catering to various tastes, which certainly enhanced our morning routine. I did encounter a slight language barrier with the reception staff, though their willingness to assist was evident. The tranquil location - just a 10-minute walk from the train station and local attractions - allowed for easy access without sacrificing peace. A delightful surprise was the gentle cats roaming the premises, which added a unique touch to the stay. Vila Camelia achieves a balance between old-world charm and modern amenities, making it an interesting option for travelers seeking cultural immersion while enjoying nature's beauty.
